Tracking
One timer at a time, with a Mon to Sun strip and the selected day underneath. Start and end fields take plain English: now, 15 minutes ago, yesterday at 4pm.
Time tracking done right.
Yield is a native macOS menu-bar time tracker. It works offline with no account, and has optional sync features.
Offline-first time tracking. Yield works fully offline. Everything is stored on your Mac, backed up on a schedule you set, and optionally syncs with a remote server if you'd like.
One timer at a time, with a Mon to Sun strip and the selected day underneath. Start and end fields take plain English: now, 15 minutes ago, yesterday at 4pm.
A Raycast-style overlay that turns Acme website copywriting 900-1300 into an entry by fuzzy-matching your projects and tasks.
An unlogged span over ten minutes shows as a gap in the day, one click from being filled or logged as a break.
A daily target or a weekly average, spread over as many days as you actually work.
If the Mac idles, sleeps, or a timer runs overnight, Yield asks what the away time was when you come back and closes the entry at the moment you stopped.
A week overview, per-day totals against the goal, the day laid out on an hour grid, and a breakdown per project.
Connect a profile to Harvest and entries sync both ways, with clients, projects and tasks pulled in read-only. Sync to your own self-hosted server is coming soon.
Each profile is its own database, with its own goal, theme, and sync pairing. This way, you can use Yield for personal logging and for work!
Yield is still pre-1.0 and I post about what changes.
